Tara Saunders
Tara Saunders joined Purdue University Press as a production editor in 2022 after a previous career in higher education, during which she earned a PhD in US History from Indiana University. She manages Purdue University Press's portfolio of journals, as well as the Press's scholarly publishing services division, which produces publications in service to the Purdue community. She is the managing editor of Shofar: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Jewish Studies, and provides publication support and expert oversight to JPUR: The Journal of Purdue Undergraduate Research, a student-run publication featuring faculty-mentored research projects conducted by Purdue undergraduates. Currently she serves on the AUPresses Journals Committee.
