Joyce Harrison
Joyce Harrison is editor in chief at the University Press of Kansas. She has worked in university press publishing for nearly 40 years. Her first job was in the Contracts and Subsidiary Rights department at the University of Chicago Press, and while her career has been devoted to acquisitions, she's never lost her love for contracts and rights and she's delighted to have the opportunity to serve on AUPresses' Intellectual Property & Copyright committee.Joyce has been at Kansas since 2016. She's a native of Baltimore, Maryland and holds a BA in music history from Towson University and an MA in musicology from the Eastman School of Music.
