Susan Halfpenny
Susan Halfpenny is Deputy University Librarian at the University of Aberdeen. Her portfolio includes open research and metadata, Aberdeen University Press, digital skills development, information consultancy and subject enquiry services. She has led a range of initiatives to develop digital literacies, support digital transformation and enable open research and digital scholarship. She is passionate about the role libraries play in providing equitable access to the world's knowledge - positively impacting the wider community through partnerships, access to information resources and services and the development of critical literacies.
