Dawn Durante
Dawn Durante is Wyndham Robertson Editorial Director at the University of North Carolina Press, where she acquires in a range of areas, including African American studies, Black history, Black feminist study, Black women's history, girlhood studies, carceral studies, and history of the twentieth century broadly. Prior to joining UNC Press, she was a senior acquisitions editor at University of Illinois Press and then Editor-in-Chief at the University of Texas Press. She is also a member of H-Net Book Channel's editorial collective for Feeding the Elephant, a forum for scholarly communications.
