Diem Do
Diem ("zee-um") is the Director of Publishing Operations for the Books Division at Johns Hopkins University Press. In this role, she leads the teams responsible for editing, design, and production, and works closely with departments across the publishing process to build more efficient, effective workflows. Diem has held roles at several major publishers, including Oxford University Press, Simon & Schuster, Wolters Kluwer, and the Modern Language Association. She also lived and worked in Chennai, India, for the publishing services provider Newgen—an experience that gave her valuable insight into the vendor-partner relationship and the complexities of managing global production workflows.
