This collaborative session will explore collaborative strategies for driving innovation within and among publishing organizations. We'll hear from university press professionals from different career levels who have launched dynamic new initiatives to increase the impact of their press. We'll explore ways to create innovation teams, encourage new ideas, and discover new opportunities. Well share strategies for strategic planning, setting goals, priorities, and objectives; forming interdepartmental or cross-organizational multidisciplinary teams; filling a need and finding a niche; and identifying and communicating with stakeholders.
