Equitable access to global knowledge exchange remains a critical challenge, but collaborative initiatives are driving real change. UN-publisher partnership Research4Life is expanding access in low- and middle-income countries, strengthening local publishing capacity, and increasing global knowledge exchange. This panel brings together perspectives from UN, library and research leaders to explore practical pathways to equity, from publishing skills to enable indexing to training initiatives that empower local researchers. The session will include insights from Research4Life's Country Connector project, which fosters local networks, enhances research usage, and builds capacity for sustainable scholarly publishing. Our discussion will highlight how publishers can help tackle systemic inequities by expanding the diversity of authors, peer reviewers, and editors—ensuring that research from all regions contributes to global knowledge.  Panelists will share strategies and challenges, followed by an interactive discussion where participants can explore actionable ways to support a more inclusive research ecosystem.
