Unsung Heroes: Mentoring in Publishing

This session, sponsored by the Professional Development Committee, will invite panelists from across the UP community to share stories of mentors who made a difference in their careers. For people new to having a mentor or looking to find one, this panel will offer case studies on successful partnerships and how mentorship works across the publishing world. Panelists will share suggestions on how to make the most of being a mentee and offer practical advice on how best to find and utilize a mentor, as well as other avenues for mentoring outside formal programs.
