This session provides an opportunity to surface key challenges, share practices, and connect with others navigating the art of image reproduction in books and journals. Whether you're managing or assisting on projects that involve images, this conversation welcomes you to explore shared experiences and learn from your peers.The first half of the session will feature panelists with diverse perspectives, highlighting current challenges, practices, and workflows related to managing image files. They'll touch on setting expectations, working with authors and editors, and the tools and guidelines that shape their processes.In the second half, attendees will break into smaller groups for informal discussions. Prompts will guide conversations on topics like submission and transmittal processes, timing and workflows across press sizes, and aspirations for making image handling smoother and more efficient.This session is less about solving every issue and more about connecting, sharing insights, and building a stronger community of practice around the essential work of handling images.
